RMSC welcomes new Board members at General Assembly
On September 9 our members were present in large numbers for the second real life gathering of 2021. During the annual General Assembly we brought everyone up to speed about our achievements and we also had the pleasure to welcome two new members to the Board.
With over 40 people present at the Stadshaven Brouwerij, we were able to see the redevelopment / beautification of Merwe4Havens, the former fruit port area, with our own eyes.
Our Chair, Connie Roozen, provided an overview of the activities and the developments of RMSC within the maritime ecosystem of the Rotterdam Maritime Capital of Europe.
Important to mention is that the budget balance is positive, four new members were welcomed in 2021 and a change of the (part of) the Board was supported by the members.
After a big thank you to Raymond Ko, we welcome Steven Verhaar and Erik Witjens to the RMSC Board, with them stepping in, we look forward to the next phase of the RMSC development.
Coming up in the second half of 2021; a joint webinar with the Singapore Shipping Association, A business lunch at Europort and the Working Across Generations meeting with multiple Rotterdam based organisations. We hope to see you all there!
Being in a brewery, and with perfect weather, after the meeting, members could discuss business and opportunities at the terrace, with the maritime industry right in our sight!
