Connie Roozen new Chairwoman RMSC

On August 29, the Rotterdam Maritime Services Community held its yearly meeting. With 19 people present, it was a well-attended general meeting. 

During the meeting, the past and current activities were explained and promoted, the financial status of the RMSC was presented and the board changed.

Bart Hoogstad and Jeroen Kuyper, both founding members of RMSC, have indicated it was time for a change and with a big thanks an a nice present, we said goodbye to Bart and Jeroen.

In addition to Jeroen leaving, the chairman position became open, and the board is happy to announce that Connie Roozen, partner at C&B More, has taken over the position.

We are pleased to announce we found two active new board members in Rogier van der Sluijs, of Anchor Insurance, and Raymond Ko of Marstrat. Both companies are members of RMSC from the beginning and we wish Rogier and Raymond a great time as RMSC board member.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of Broekman Logistics, a leading logistics company in Rotterdam, with a great view over the Waalhaven. After the formal meeting, we gathered with the larger RMSC Community for the Summer Event. We were given an interesting tour around the Broekman Project Services terminal at RDM followed by drinks and dinner at the RDM Kantine where the community had more than enough time to network!
