Port HR Network Event
On 19 November, RDM Rotterdam will be dedicated to the Port HR Network Event. Companies from across the port community will come together to strengthen their HR networks and jointly address labour market challenges in the port. The event is organised by the Port of Rotterdam and Deltalinqs. This year, RMSC will also contribute to the programme with an interesting workshop led by Boudewijn Baan from TOP Management Consultants.
What can you expect from Port HR?
By working together, we are building an economically strong and socially sustainable port where everyone has a place.
The theme for 19 November is The Human Side of Technological Change.
Technological developments are advancing at a rapid pace. Artificial intelligence, automation and robotics offer new opportunities for organisations in the port and industrial sectors. At the same time, they raise important questions. How do you create support for change? How do you encourage a culture of learning? And what role does social innovation play in successfully implementing change?
We will discuss the human side of innovation and change management, as well as practical examples from the port industry. An afternoon full of insights, networking and exchanging ideas with HR professionals from across the sector.

Keynote
The programme includes a plenary keynote by Peter Joosten. Peter will explore the impact of AI and automation on organisations, work and employees. Using current examples, he will highlight the technological developments ahead and the challenges and opportunities they bring.
This is particularly relevant given the paradox facing the port area, where jobs are disappearing while vacancies remain unfilled.

Led by Boudewijn Baan – TOP Management Consultants.
