About Young RMSC
Young RMSC is a dynamic network of young professionals (between 25 – 35 years old) who work at various leading maritime business service providers located in or around Rotterdam. Together with the Rotterdam Maritime Services Community (RMSC) and other networks or trade associations, we facilitate various network events and industry-specific lectures. The focus of Young RMSC is therefore mainly on knowledge exchange, intensifying connections and enthusiastically encouraging other young professionals to develop maritime business services. In order to expand and strengthen our position, Young RMSC aims to collaborate with other well-known young professional associations in the Rotterdam region. Last year, we were able to organise various trend sessions and seminars at various trade fairs with KPMG, Deltalinqs and YoungShip Rotterdam.
About the position
As a Board member of Events Young RMSC, you are jointly responsible for the organisation of various events together with the organisation committee. You take the lead in both the organisation and the implementation. Important decisions are made during the monthly board meeting. We also work regularly with other associations, so you can build a wide maritime network.
What are we looking for?
You have an enthusiastic approach and enjoy connecting people/associations. You are communicatively skilled, you feel responsible for setting up solid events for our members. You have a natural organisational talent. The time spent on this function varies because this depends mainly on when ‘your’ events are planned. Assume that you spend at least 4 hours a week (on a voluntary basis).
