Save the Date: 23 juni Mareforum Commodities in Rotterdam

23 juni vindt voor de eerste maal het internationale congres Mareforum Commodities plaats in het Hilton hotel in Rotterdam. Tijdens dit congres worden trends in de commodity markten besproken en de effecten daarvan op de logistieke stromen door de Rotterdamse haven. Op het programma staan veel internationale topsprekers uit de wereld van de commodity trade.

With the Port of Rotterdam being one of the world’s biggest ports and commodities hub, where millions of tons of cargo from all over the world pass through each year, Mare Forum decided to host its first annual Mareforum Commodities Forum Rotterdam.

Leading commodities producers, traders, buyers, charterers, shipowners, shipmanagers, bankers, investors, market strategists, ship brokers, analysts, ports and terminals, logistics providers, insurers, maritime lawyers, class societies, and many more professionals will actively take part in the conference program; by discussing, debating, networking, learning and sharing knowledge on commodities supply and demand, the changing trade patterns, freight rates, ships and assets, port and terminal logistics, geopolitician and business related risks, investments and finance of the agricultural, metal and energy commodities.

In the morning sessions we will look at topics pertaining to agricultural, metals and iron ore commodities such as wheat, corn, soybeans, sugar, coffee, cocoa, iron ore, steel and metals while the afternoon session will deal with topics on energy commodities such as oil, gas, coal, chemicals, bio energy and fuels bunkering.
