Masterclass energy transition in shipping
Join the Rotterdam Mainport Institute (RMI) on Tuesday May 28 for a masterclass about the energy transition in shipping, with a special focus on topics from the Maritime Masterplan (MMP). The event will be hosted from 18.00 – 21.00 in the STC building at the Lloydstraat in Rotterdam. The masterclass includes a complementary buffet.
During the masterclass (in Dutch), participants will delve deeper into the development and maintenance of fuel cells. Additionally, user experiences with hydrogen and the use of methanol in maritime shipping will be shared.
Future developments
These topics are not only relevant to the maritime industry but also to future developments in the curriculum. Lecturer Jeroen Pruijn will deliver a keynote and serve as the moderator to connect the presentation and questions.
Applicants for a subsidy from the MMP must indicate how they involve human capital and knowledge institutions in the implementation and operation of these systems. By attending this masterclass, you can learn more and help RMI to be better prepared and also support students as effectively as possible in developing their skills.
Alignment
To ensure that the masterclass aligns as closely as possible with possible questions, the registration form includes a short survey (in Dutch). Participants are kindly asked to complete this survey by May 21.
The question articulation will be shared with the speakers in advance, requesting them to address it in their presentations. This way, the content can align with their specific needs and interests.
