Friday & Co wins Young Corporation Award

We are proud that our member Friday & Co Shipbrokers received recognition for their attitude and efforts towards talent development. During the closing ceremony of ShipCon 2021 the hosts YoungShip Rotterdam and YoungShip International announced Friday & Co. Shipbrokers as winners of the Young Corporation Award 2021.

With the annual Young Corporation Award, YoungShip International wishes to promote and acknowledge efforts by individual employers to strengthen their focus on talent management and development of talented young professionals. This year various international companies were nominated. After careful deliberation the jury decided that Rotterdam based Friday & Co Shipbrokers deserves to receive the award.

Jury considerations

Friday & Co has clearly nurtured its young talent to be successful and have great plans to do so on a larger scale in the future. Friday & Co have recently launched a training program call the Expedition Program to find and recruit several new trainee brokers. It is this investment in time, not just the financial aspects that YoungShip values. Transfer of knowledge is key to our founding principles and aligns with Friday & Co’s outlook and ethos.
