Cooperation VNO-NCW and Young Maritime Board

14 September 2020/in News /by sharper

The City of Rotterdam works closely together with the industry, knowledge institutions and other authorities to develop the Rotterdam region as Maritime Captial of Europe. And to put the region on the map internationally. Part of this ambition is to attract and retain talented young professionals so the industry has access to a broad and well educated talentpool.

To get better understanding of what drives and occupies young maritime professionals the City of Rotterdam established the Young Maritime Board. A special advisory body to bring the perspective of the next generation of leadership in Rotterdam maritime capital of Europe to the table. Young RMSC participates to represent the views of young professionals working in the maritime business services industry.

Shortly the board wil be launched officially. In order to introduce the Young Maritime Board in the regional network, the City of Rotterdam partnered with VNO-NCW Rotterdam & regio Rijnmond. During the ‘Miljoenenontbijt‘ the board will share their views on the recent events and which opportunities they see for the foreseeable future.

VNO-NCW Miljoenenonbtijt
