Nesec Fund Management B.V. is mezzanine and participation fund for the shipping industry. Our company participates in liable capital of ships by way of subordinated loans or participations. Nesec focuses primarily on ships built in The Netherlands or on ships controlled through Dutch interests.

Nesec provides subordinated (2nd priority mortgage backed) loans to shipowners. Our funding arrangements are structured such, that banks consider these loans as liable capital of a shipowner.

In specific transactions Nesec participates direct in the equity of ships as a co-owner. Sometimes this occurs by way of a preferred equity position.

AgentschapNL (part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs) has accepted Nesec as an accredited provider of capital under the Groeifaciliteit (Growth Facility). Please refer to the site for more information (Dutch only).
