About the Session
The Port of Rotterdam plays a crucial role in securing critical minerals essential for sectors such as the energy transition, digitalization, aerospace, and defense. The port’s Critical Materials Program focuses on:
- Establishing international supply chains for critical and strategic minerals.
- Strengthening logistics and industrial clusters in Rotterdam.
- Developing (new) facilities in Rotterdam.
This program aligns with the EU Critical Raw Materials Act, aiming to enhance strategic autonomy. During this interactive session, we will discuss the impact of these developments and explore potential opportunities. We also welcome input from participating companies on the risks and opportunities they see regarding CRM and potential collaborations.
