Young RMSC Pubquiz – fun and networking!

On the 25th of April, we celebrated the first Young RMSC event of 2019. An proper and amusing pubquiz at Stalles in Rotterdam. A group of young professionals – linked to the Rotterdam maritime business services industry- attended the pubquiz. It was interesting to meet likeminded professionals different kinds of backgrounds and disciplines such as lawyers, bankers, brokers, insurers etc..  

As we all know, a pubquiz is a combination of fun, showcasing your knowledge, networking  and drinking beers. During the networking pre-drinks, attendees held vivid discussions about the potential questions and the state of the current maritime market. Some of those were already apologizing for being too competitive. We started the pubquiz with a small round of fun facts like “how many bananas a 21,000 TEU vessel can carry”, followed by a ‘lawyers definition’, ‘guess the company’ and ‘guess the movie’ round. We ended the pubquiz with an amazing music round, it was a bit disappointing that the technology was not working well, but that didn’t spoil the fun. Overall a successful start of 2019.

Furthermore, we would like to thank everyone who attended the event! We hope you enjoyed and you found it a good opportunity to combine networking with fun. We will keep you posted on future events. The Young RMSC event will probably be during summer.
