Start Business Course: Anatomy of Shipping and Transport

In January 2015 the new business course Anatomy of Shipping and Transport will start in Rotterdam; an initiative of the Netherlands Maritime University and supported by RMSC.

The Anatomy of Shipping and Transport course gives professionals in the maritime and shipping industry a knowledge boost on shipping markets, organisation principles and the latest trends and developments in this field. The course enables participants to understand the fundamentals of shipping, its drivers and dynamics.

The course is especially suited for financial, legal and consultancy professionals, as it offers insights into the drivers behind the shipping and transport industry. Participants will obtain in-depth knowledge on ship finance and insurance. The legal side of carriage of goods at sea and the required contracts and documentation are also part of the course.

The first part of the business course will be held from the 19th to 23rd of January 2015. The second part of the course is scheduled from the 9th to 13th of March 2015. The course location is the Mainport Rotterdam and Maritime Delta area in the Netherlands.
