RMSC Talks – Launching the Podcast Celebrating 10 Years of RMSC

As the anniversary year of 10 years of Rotterdam Maritime Services Community slowly comes to a close, we’re wrapping it up with something special. We’re proud to launch: RMSC Talks – the podcast where we speak with founding members and new faces within our community.

In this first episode, we’re joined by Linda Treuman, Connie Roozen, and Jeroen Kuyper – all of whom have played a key role in the founding and/or growth of RMSC. Together, they take us back to the early days, share memorable anecdotes, and reflect on how RMSC has grown into the leading network for maritime business services in Rotterdam.

In the second episode of the RMSC podcast, host Marc Buijs is joined by Christina Georgiadou and Selin Ogis for a conversation that shines a light on the next generation of maritime professionals. The discussion explores the role of young talent in the maritime business services industry and underscores the value of building a strong professional network early in one’s career. Together, they share insights, experiences, and perspectives on how young professionals can make a meaningful impact within the sector.

In the third episode of the RMSC podcast, host Lisette Smit-Bennemeer (Human Capital Ambassador) is joined by Diederic van Keulen (Waves Group) and Danny van Eijk (MARPO) for a conversation on Human Capital in the maritime business services sector. They discuss the key labour market challenges facing the industry, what this means for the competitive position of the wider Dutch maritime cluster, and reflect on possible ways forward.
