Erasmus UPT Launches New Executive Progamme Leadership in Commodity Trade and Supply Networks

The Executive Programme Leadership in Commodity Trade and Supply Networks had its official launch at the Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam 15th of June, with industry speakers such as Peter Goedvolk on behalf of the Rotterdam Maritime Board and Sacha Konan, the Executive Director Commodities and Global Markets at Macquarie highlighting the importance of commodities trading education in Rotterdam.

The programme led by Dr. Wouter Jacobs offers ambitious and high-potential professionals from the commodity trading business a stepping stone to advance their careers. Participants can expect world-class academic speakers and respected industry specialists that will challenge the participants to reflect and strategize on the business practice along every step of the transaction.

Each of the eight interactive masterclasses addresses a different aspect of the commodity trade and its associated supply networks. Masterclasses include Geopolitics & Political Risk, Contracting & Law, and Trade Finance. Besides industry insights, the programme offers multiple leadership challenges in which the participants get the opportunity to reflect upon their practice and grow their leadership capabilities. The final week of the programme will be spent in Singapore interacting with Asian business leaders.
