Date(s) - 01 July
11:00 - 12:00
During the well attended RMSC businesslunch at the Dutch embassy during the London International Shipping Week in 2019 it was agreed to organise a follow-up meeting. Unfortunately this had to be postponed due to Covid-19. Because it is unclear when we are able to travel to London again we decided to create a special Anglo – Dutch Trade and networking event on the 1st of July.
The event will be opened by Dutch ambassador to the United Kingdom Karel van Oosterom and vice-mayor Roos Vermeij of the City of Rotterdam. During their speeches they will elaborate on the importance of proper trade relations between the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Furthermore they will address the specific interests of the maritime industry.
The programme itself will focus on life after Brexit. Including challenges and opportunities of trading between the two nations.
Speakers from London and Rotterdam will share their views on current developments, opportunities, and issues that need to be addressed.
Other topics will touch upon how to increase trade opportunities and how to connect innovative maritime stars-ups. During the event we will also host an online matchmaking service to enhance interaction between participants.
