Jeroen Kuyper new managing director Rotterdam Partners

Jeroen Kuyper will be the new managing director of Rotterdam Partners as of 1 September. Kuyper has extensive experience in the Rotterdam business sector. He replaces departing interim director Ron Voskuilen.

Kuyper was born and raised in Rotterdam. He is currently employed as managing director of Maritime & Transport at insurance broker and risk advisor Aon, where he has held various positions since 1993. Kuyper has extensive experience and a large network in Rotterdam’s business community. In addition to his current position, he is also active as chairman of the Rotterdam Maritime Services Community (RMSC), an organisation representing Rotterdam’s maritime business service providers, and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sinfonia Rotterdam.

Kuyper replaces Ron Voskuilen, who, as interim manager, together with the management team was responsible for the integration of the merger organisation Rotterdam Partners and for shaping the strategy.

Cees de Bruin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “The Supervisory Board welcomes the arrival of Jeroen Kuyper. He is very involved in Rotterdam, has a wide network in the city and beyond and has a lot of experience in managing professionals. We look forward to working with him on the commercial conversion of the Roadmap Next Economy and the economic profile of Rotterdam in general. The Supervisory Board is very grateful to Ron Voskuilen for his leadership during the past period, the integration of the three parts of Rotterdam Partners, the strategic reorientation and the move to the Schielandshuis.”

Jeroen Kuyper about his new position: “As a Rotterdammer through and through, I have strong ties to the city. I know it well, feel involved and see that it is going well in many aspects. That does not mean we can sit still. A city is always in motion. Changes in the economy bring new challenges and opportunities. Rotterdam Partners as an organisation is solid and has proven its worth. I look forward to helping together with the employees and all of the partners of Rotterdam to contribute to the further economic development of this amazing city.”

Ron Voskuilen takes leave as interim director at the end of June. Until the arrival of Kuyper in September, Deputy Director Jannelieke Aalstein will be responsible for the daily management of Rotterdam Partners.
